POST VACCINATION REACTIONS Have you ever taken your pet to the Vet to get it’s vaccines and almost immediately or by the next day your pet was having a reaction. I see these problems commonly. I group these reactions into three different categories.
An acute allergic reaction usually happens within minutes after receiving the vaccination. The mucous membranes become pale or welts appear on the body. This is a condition that need’s immediate attention, and it is recommended that you take your pet back to the vet as soon as possible. Allergic reactions can be prevented using an allergy elimination technique. (www.vetnaet.com) A pain reaction will cause your pet to become lethargic and may not want to move, and if moved will invoke some signs of pain. It is not recommended to give your pet aspirin as this will decrease the immune response to the vaccine. Apply heat and or cold depending on how your pet responds. I will treat these animals with a tens-cam.(www.tenscam.com) This treatment will usually lessen the pain without decreasing the immune response. Most people have not heard of the term vaccinosis unless they have educated themselves in alternative healing. A vaccinosis condition is referred to as a miasim. This condition occurs in some animals after receiving one vaccination or in other animals after receiving multiple vaccinations. It is a congenital tendency to have a reaction. It is not an allergic reaction nor a pain reaction. Only a certain percentage of animals will develop this condition. The way that I detect this condition is by muscle testing. Once a vaccinosis condition has developed then your pet will have a reaction after each vaccination and it seems to get worse each time. Some animals will feel bad for several days. Some animals will develop an itchy condition and you pet will have a continuous itchy scratchy condition. I have seen horses that after receiving their vaccinations. that all four legs have stocked up with swelling. Vaccinosis conditions can be treated with homeopathic treatments, usually taking about 5 weeks. After treatment, vaccines can be given without an adverse reaction. Some people prefer to use nosodes to protect their pets from contagious diseases. I have used these and they do work. Integrated Medicine is the practice of using conventional medicine and alternative medicine together. I do prefer to use this approach, as it seems to be the best of both world’s.
